Setting Call order for Devices for Zoom Phone

A feature to ZoomPhone is that you can manage and call using multiple devices including, your computer, desk phone, mobile phone, or tablet. This article will cover how to prioritize these devices' ring order.

Setting Up Call Order

1. Go to johncarrolluniversity.zoom.us and sign in.
2. Once logged into your profile click on Phone on the left navigation bar.
3. Go to the Settings sub tab.
4. Scroll down until you see the Call Handling section.
5. Click Edit to the right of the Call Handling field.
6. A new window will open. Here you can toggle on and off the devices you want your phone to ring on.
   1. Once the devices are turned on, you can drag and drop or use the up & down arrows to reorder. The first device is at the top.
   2. To forward calls to an external number (like your home phone) click Add Phone Number.
   3. Enter phone number.
   4. Click save
      
7. Scroll to Call Handling Ring Mode, select your preferred method then Click Save
   • Simultaneous - all of these devices will ring at the same time.
   • Sequential  - Devices will ring one at a time starting at the top of the list
8. After hitting save you will see a different option depending on what you selected
   • If you selected Simultaneous, you will need to select the max amount of time your phone will ring before it goes to voicemail
   • ​​​​​​​If you selected Sequential, you will need to select the amount of time your number will ring on each device.
