Submitting Meter Reads

Occasionally, ComDoc will request meter reads for machines that are not networked, not reporting properly or ComDoc just needs to confirm that the page count matches their billing records.

  1. Select Meter
  2. Enter in the current page count on the printer
    • This can be obtained from a configuration report from the printer or through the printers menus. Each printer is slightly different. A quick Google search for the model number and "Page count" will give you directions specific to your printer.
    • If the meter reading you are submitting is less than displayed, ComDoc will prompt you to check the meter reading before allowing you to submit (The meter read in ComDoc can be larger as it is an estimate based on usage)

  3. Click Submit
