Prerequisites
- You are using a Windows 10 or 11 computer
- You have recently used Lockdown Browser
- You are experiencing one of these symptoms
- The shutdown and restart options are missing from the Start Menu
- Your laptop is disconnected from the wireless network, and no available networks are shown when you try to reconnect

If Lockdown Browser doesn't close correctly it may leave your network or power settings in a faulty state. The below steps will reset your settings to the normal states.
Procedure:
- Right-click on the Lockdown Browser icon on your desktop.
- Select Properties.

- Go to the Shortcut tab on the window that opens.
- In the Target field, add /restore to the end of the text. There should be a space between the quote and forward slash.

- Click Apply and OK to close the window.
- Double-click on the Lockdown Browser icon to launch the program.
- Make sure the Settings Restored window pops up.
- Repeat steps 1-5, this time removing the /restore text in the Target field to reset Lockdown Browser back to normal.
