How to Use Proxy Access

Where do I go to access Proxy Access

  1. Go to Banner.jcu.edu
  2. Select Student in the upper right corner
  3. Click on BannerWeb in the drop-down menu
  4. Click on Proxy Access to access the Proxy Access portalUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

How do I log into Proxy Access

  1. Input the email that you are authorized for proxy access
  2. Input the pin you were given/set for proxy accessUploaded Image (Thumbnail)

What to do if I forgot my Pin

  1. Have the student you are receiving proxy access for log in to banner.jcu.edu and access BannerWeb.
  2. Go to Proxy Access Setup & Management 
  3. Click Proxy Management
  4.  Click on your name to open the drop-down menuUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. Select the Reset Pin button to get an email sent with the link to reset the pin
  6. The open email you were granted proxy access look for an email titled Send proxy PIN reset request sent from Registrar@jcu.edu
    • Take note of the Action Password in the email, you will need it to reset your pin
  7. Click on the link in the email or copy the link into your search bar
  8. Input the Action Password in the Email you received and press Enter
  9. Fill in each input box.
    • Please note that where it says old pin you'll have to input the action password again
    • New pin must be at least 8 characters long and no longer than 15 characters
  10. Press Continue

Updating Proxy Profile Information

Under the Profile tab, you can view information about your profile for Proxy Access.
You can also change the following from this tab:

  • First Name
  • Middle Name
  • Last Name
  • Home Email Address
  • Current Pin

Clicking the save button will adjust the profile to match the text currently in each box.
