Overview
The Center for Digital Media, located in rm. B112 of Grasselli Library, offers a variety of information technology-related services for all members of the JCU community.
Services Offered:
- Utilize the Macintosh lab to work on academic projects
- Work one-on-one with a CDM staff member to learn about anything related to Canvas, Google Workspace, Canva, Adobe Suite, NotebookLM, etc.
- Get tips and advice from a CDM staff member for how to enhance class projects and presentations
- Use the One Button Studio to record videos that are saved to Canvas Studio
- Find 3D models to print for academic purposes
- Utilize the CDM's new 3D scanner for academic purposes
- Consult with a CDM staff member about utilizing the Glowforge laser and engraving machine
- Attend ITS Tech Trainings to enhance technological skills and learn different hacks for improving your productivity
- Request videographers to film campus events with post production included
Who is eligible to use it?
The Center for Digital Media is open to all JCU students and staff/faculty members for no cost.
How do I request / access it?
The Center for Digital Media is open as long as Grasselli Library is open. Members of the CDM staff are present Mondays-Fridays between 9:00am-6:00pm. For questions and setting up a consultation with a CDM staff member, email cdm@jcu.edu.
