JCU Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Overview

The John Carroll VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a service that allows authorized students, faculty, and staff to securely access John Carroll University (JCU) network resources from off-campus. It works by creating an encrypted "tunnel" between a user's remote device and the campus network, making it appear as if the device is directly connected to the on-campus Wi-Fi or wired network. The tool currently used to access the JCU VPN is the GlobalProtect client.
