This article covers how to enable third-party cookies in your browser and how to link your Google Drive and Canvas accounts.
Enable Third-party Cookies in your Browser
- In your browser click on the more icon () in the top right and select the Settings option.
- On the left side navigation, click Privacy and security (certain browsers might show this as Advanced settings).
- Click the Third-party cookies option.
- Select either the Allow third-party cookies option or the Block third-party cookies in Incognito mode option.
Linking Canvas and Google Drive
- Log into canvas.jcu.edu
- Click on your profile picture and select Settings
- Scroll down until you see the Web Services section
- Under other settings, click on the box that says Google Drive
- Click the blue Authorize Google Drive button
- Select your JCU Gmail account/login, if it's not showing
- Google will list what data Canvas will have access to see. To continue, press the Select all button, then select Continue.
