This article discusses how to import a course template from Canvas Commons into your JCU course.
Downloading a JCU Course Template from Canvas Commons
- Log into Canvas using your JCU credentials and open the course in which you want to import a template.
- Along the left hand side of your screen, click on Commons and log in with your JCU credentials as prompted.
- In the search bar, enter the template name. Use the institution filter to find JCU-specific templates quickly, such as "JCU Template: Basic" and "JCU Boler Template: Basic."
- Once you click on your desired template, click on Import/Download. Check the boxes of each course you want this template to appear.
- Click on Import Into Course to begin the downloading process. This may take a few minutes.
- Once the process is complete, review the course materials and make any necessary modifications.
