Using Respondus LockDown Browser from a Student's Perspective

What is Respondus LockDown Browser?:

Respondus LockDown Browser is a locked browser app that prevents students from printing, copying, going to another URL, or accessing other applications while completing assessments. If Respondus LockDown Browser is required to be used during a Canvas quiz or exam, students won't be able to use a standard web browser to take it.

Prerequisites

  • Make sure your Internet connection is stable

Installing Respondus LockDown Browser

The LockDown Browser is installed on all JCU lab and classroom computers. If you are using your own computer, you will be presented with a LockDown Browser download link before starting the exam. You can also download the LockDown Browser for JCU before the exam.
