One Button Studios

Overview

A one button studio is a recording and production lab that features two state-of-the-art solutions.

Features:

  • There are two one button studios: Grasselli Library rm. B102 & O'Malley Center rm. 62.
  • The one button studios allow JCU students, faculty and staff to effortlessly record lectures, presentations, etc. from Canvas Studio with customizable backgrounds including university logos without any post-production work.
  • There's also a studio lightboard in both studios that can be used to break down complex course material, which allows for engagement with visual explanations.
  • The spaces are soundproof and have crystal clear microphones that can be used with one push of a button.
  • No prior knowledge of technology is required to utilize these spaces.

Who is eligible to use it?

The one button studio at Grasselli Library is for JCU staff/faculty only. The O'Malley Center location is for all JCU students and staff/faculty.
