Google Workspace includes all of the productivity apps—Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and many more. Regardless of where you are working from or on what device, Google Workspace is the tool provided by JCU to create, communicate, and collaborate.

Who is eligible to use it?
All current students, faculty, and staff. Alumni and retired faculty and staff of John Carroll also retain access to JCU email and Google Workspace.
Restrictions:
- Must be a current student, faculty, staff, retired staff or faculty, or alumni to access Google Workspace.
How do I request access to Google Workspace?
Access to Google Workspace is tied to an active JCU network account
Account Suspension
Google and JCU take cyber-security seriously and will suspend JCU Google accounts due to unusual activities, suspicious logins, or account inactivity. If you find that your account has been incorrectly suspended, JCU can check and un-suspend your account by using the request to the right.

Issues with 2-Step Verification
All faculty, staff, and retirees are required to use 2-step verification with their JCU Google account. Students are strongly encouraged to use 2-step verification, but not required. To learn more about Google 2-step verification and setting up, visit the JCU Google Webpage. Assistance with account access issues due to failure to set up 2-step verification or changes to 2-step verification can be requested to the right.
