Why is This Important?

• Adds the meeting to the Meeting List on the Touch Panel in the classroom or conference room and allows you to start the meeting with a tap instead of entering the meeting ID and passcode.
  
• By making the room a co-host, it ensures that the hosting rights remain with the room, and you are able to share content.

How to Add a Co-Host via Zoom Web Portal

1. Go to www.johncarrolluniversity.zoom.us
2. Log into your account via Single Sign On (SSO)
3. On the left sidebar, go to Meetings
4. Select + Schedule a Meeting button on the right
   
5. After putting in all your required information, scroll down and select Show next to Options
   • This will bring up a list of checkboxes that you can turn on and off
6. You will now see a text input box under Alternative Hosts.
7. Type the 3 letter code and 3 numbers of the classroom to add as a co-host.
   • For room numbers that are only one or two numbers lead with zeros so that it is three digits (ex: SIH054)
   • Buildings
     • Special Conference Rooms: LSC & Jardine
     • Dolan Science Center - Atrium: DSA
     • Dolan Science Center - West Wing: DSW
     • Dolan Science Center - East Wing: DSE
     • Boler College of Business: BCB
     • Bruening Hall: BRU
     • O'Malley Center: OMC
     • Saint Ignatius Hall: SIH​
8. Then click Save

How to Add a Co-Host via Zoom Client

1. Open up the Zoom Client on your computer and select Schedule
2. After putting in all your required information, scroll down and select  next to Advanced Options
   • This will bring up a list of checkboxes that you can turn on and off
3. You will now see a text input box under Alternative Hosts
