Banner Self-Service Display Issues

Prerequisites 

  • A stable internet connection
  • Using the Google Chrome Browser

Instructions for resolving display issues (including missing fields and in-operative menus) in Banner applications by clearing the web browser cache.  Banner Applications include:

  • Admin Pages
  • Student Profile
  • Employee Dashboard
  • Registration Self-Service
  • Faculty Grade Entry

Clearing the cache: Google Chrome

  1. In Google Chrome, select Clear Browsing Data from the "Three Dots" menu at the upper left corner of the browser window.

 

  1. In the Clear Browsing Data dialogue, select the Advanced tab, scroll down and select Cached images and FilesSite Settings, and Hosted App Data.

  1. Click the Clear Data button.
  2. Completely exit the browser (close all windows).

You may now restart your browser and return to the Banner application.
