Zoom Phone Transition Plan

The transition plan is as follows:

  • The transition from Avaya phones will begin in mid-June and will be completed before the end of July. During this process, the old Avaya handsets will be removed and replaced with either the Zoom App or a Zoom Phone handset if one was requested.
  • During the transition, there will be a period when some people will still be using the old Avaya phones while others have switched to Zoom Phones. Anyone with Avaya phones can continue using them as before.
    • Anyone using the new Zoom Phone App or Zoom Phone Handset will need to dial 10 digits for all internal and external calls or during the transition period.
  • The final cut-over is planned for the end of July
