Connecting to the Internet in the JCU Duplexes

Prerequisites 

  • Live in a JCU Owned Duplex

This article will cover how to connect to the JCU-provided T-Mobile WiFi router (Inseego 5g Home WiFi).

Before you Start

  • The unit should remain plugged into the wall (power) at all times.
  • The normal status of the unit, the LED on the front, should be BLUE.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  • The unit's performance can be related to location. If you are experiencing poor performance try moving around the apartment, near a window is usually the best

Connecting to the Network

Connect to Wireless

  1. The login information for your unit is located on the bottom of the router

    • Primary Wifi: is the name of the network you want to connect your devices
    • Primary Wifi Password: is the password needed to connect to the WiFi network.
      • The password is case-sensitive
          

Connect a Wired Device

  1. On the back of the Inseego box, you will find two network ports
  2. Connect one end of your Ethernet cable to a port on the box
  3. Connect the other end to your device

For expedited service, please share the asset tag number, located on the front of the unit, and your address (building & room number).

The unit is and remains the property of John Carroll University.  If the unit is lost or stolen the resident will be charged for the cost of the unit.
