Free Office 365 for Personal Devices

Overview

John Carroll’s Microsoft Office license agreement allows JCU ITS to make Office 365 available at NO COST to all JCU Faculty/Staff and Students. The license allows you to install Microsoft Office 365 on up to 5 personal computers (PCs or Macs).

Restrictions

  • Office 365 is only available to you while you are current faculty/staff and students at John Carroll. If you leave the University, your copy of Office 365 will stop working.  Part-time faculty not under contract will not have access to Office 365.
  • JCU's license does not include the online versions of the Office apps.
  • OneDrive and Teams are not included.
  • Some apps, like Access, can only be installed on Windows computers.
